QUESTION: In a physician’s office patients are identified by patient_id and items charged to patients are identified by item_id. A patient can charge multiple items and the same item can be charged by multiple patients.
I think this is a many-to-many (*:*). But i need help determining the third table name madeup of patient-id and item-id and the associated relationship phrases that connects patient table to (third) table and then (third) table to item table.
or would it be patient table (1,1) to charge table (1, *) then charge table (1,*) to item table (1,1). idk if the 1,1 is correct because items arent required but idk
Thanks in advance for your help
