Drama Analysis Short Paper
Write a 250-word paragraph with 8-11 sentences about the following: Discuss how any of the plays in the module deal with gender roles through the use of symbolism, characters, or stage devices. Use things from the work to back up your ideas. You may NOT write about a play that is not on the reading list for the drama module.
Your evidence should only come from the plays themselves, not from other sources.
The Open Resource/PDF of the play from the course is the only and required source for this short paper. If you use more than one source, you will lose 10 points. You must use MLA style to cite the literature. Literature entries must be in alphabetical order on the Work(s) Cited page. In-text citations should be used correctly in the body of the essay. Before you turn in your short paper, please check the course syllabus for any reminders or policies about plagiarism.
This short paper needs to use quotes, paraphrases, and summaries from the text to answer the question. All evidence, including a summary or paraphrase, should end with an in-text citation. Both in-text citations and a works cited page are required.
Avoid saying things like “I believe” or “I think”
A failing grade will be given for a short paper that uses more than 30% of information from primary sources.
This short paper needs to be set up according to MLA rules.
