What lead-in has to have contain:
Identify the author (by full name) and either their expertise/qualifications or the
source the quotation comes from.
Place quotation marks around the exact language of the quotation (make sure you
copy it exactly and accurately)
The lead-in must use a present tense verb like writes, states, claims, declares,
observes, etc.
Document the page number(s) the quotation comes from with parenthetical
citation: (34).
